Scottish Disability Golf & Curling

The Newsletter of the SDGC, will now come out twice a month!

The SDGC just celebrated its 18th Birthday!  After quite humble beginnings we have expanded beyond all our expectations and have over 1100 members, held over 1300 games and provided over 4400 lessons via our HUBS to members across Scotland.  We have 3 major 54-hole golf competitions and as of this year, 3 major multi-day curling competitions, still offer free membership and continue to heavily subsidise and sponsor members entry across Scotland.  Thank you to all our sponsors who in 2022 provided support for over 100 games!

The SDGC has already organised over a dozen HUBS so far this year and they always fill quickly.  The next available playing places are on 3 April at the Forthview Academy in Falkirk, and shortly after on 12&13 April at the first Order of Merit Championships 2-day competition of the year at Dalmahoy in Edinburgh.  More on the Diary page of the website.

Since starting the worlds first inclusive group, we have just held our 500th curling game

The entry for the British Open tees off at the start of June

Details for the SDGC Disabled Golf Week are listed on our website
