AGM report

The AGM is an important part of our constitutional obligation as a charity but we hold it during the conference meeting as most of our members probably wouldn’t find it terrifically exciting prospect to turn up for on it’s own!

The meeting was declared and quorum and reports were given by the treasurer and chairman and were only interrupted by one or two snores from the spell-bound (?!) audience! The motions to maintain Julie Wootton as chairman and for Gary Hawkesford to take the role of secretary were carried with a good show of hands (though he has promised not to wear that mini skirt again!). Voting for incoming trustees Tracey Muschamp and Elaine Latty (as treasurer) went through on a shoo in!

The picture shows Heather (who jointly ran the benefits workshop with exiting treasurer, Sharon Hunt), along with two exiting trustees, Pauline Dewick and Sam Owen. We are also sad to say goodbye to Sam Hawkesford as secretary and trustee. All will Continue to contribute to the charity as volunteers.

Thank you all for you efforts over the last year!
