Consensus Project
The aim of this project was to compile a comprehensive and universally agreed life long care plan for people with 22q11.2 deletion within the NHS framework.
The full consensus document is over 10,000 words long and has had contributions from most of the major centres around the UK with input from over 50 top experts in the major fields associated with 22q deletion.
This has been more than 3 years in the making and we feel it will be of material benefit to all of our families and those that provide care and support to them.
Max Appeal is committed the dissemination of this information to ensure that minimum care standards are applied, meaning that every family will not have the task of forging their own pathway.
These documents are not cast in stone and will be revisted in line with our document management protocol, and our policy agreed with the Information Standards set out by government which we are committed to comply with to ensure that our information is reliable and accurate.
