Fundraising

eBay for Charity
Calling all 'Ebayer's' or anyone who is starting 2010 with a clear out of those unwanted items.

Now you can not only dispose of excess goods, but also benefit Max Appeal by donating a proportion (or all) of your selling price to our charity.

If you enjoy making things and are talented in arts and craft hobbies, you may even like to try selling some of your creations on eBay too.

Max Appeal's online charity shop receives donations from eBay sellers and Gift Aid (if eligible) can be claimed too.

This is an excellent way to raise funds and help Max Appeal benefit from much needed donations.

You can start raising funds now and tell family and friends!

Can you help raise money for Max Appeal?
Every little helps (as they say!).

We're all going through difficult times, including charities. We need any help you can give to help raise funds and support the work of Max Appeal. All members of the family can get involved; parents/carers, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends can do something however small (or large) to help with fundraising.
A coffee morning, table top or garage sale, a toddle round the park or anything you like. We have a small budget to get you started if you some help for out of pocket expenses.
Please get in touch and tell us what you are planning !

Climbing Kilimanjaro!
Louis Stafford decided he needed a new challenge for 2008! (obviously the Max Appeal database wasn't challenging him enough), so he set his sites on the highest summit in Africa and took the opportunity to raise funds for us at the same time.

Here are a few extracts from his adventure, you'll be able to read more about it in the next Max Appeal Newsletter.

'The first couple of hours went ok, I was singing in my head most of the time, until I hit the point where I thought to myself 'don't kid yourself into everything is fine!' All I could do was think about how hard it was to put one foot in front of the other...'

Have a look at some of his photos, see the link below.

Well done Louis from all the Max Appeal team, a fantastic achievement!
